  • Keflavík International Airport outside Reykjavik, Iceland is spending a billion dollars to boost capacity with the huge ramp up of flights from Icelandair and Wow Air and new service from North American carriers as well. All of a sudden Keflavík is the ‘it’ growth airport.

    We’ll see how sustainable that is, it’s a strong connecting point to Europe but that was true for Icelandair for many years (and they weren’t able to sustain their soon-to-restart Baltimore flight).
